On December 16th, 2021, GauchoSpace Pelican become production GauchoSpace and the Summer 2015 - Fall 2021 GauchoSpace was archived.
GauchoSpace has all of the same features and functionality of GauchoSpace before the archive.
What was archived on December 16th, 2021?
- All academic courses from Summer 2015 - Fall 2021 and personal sandboxes.
- All departmental project sites were not archived and are in the process of being migrated to the new, current GauchoSpace.
How do I access the Archive?
Instructors and students can access GauchoSpace sites for courses taught between Summer 2015 and Fall 2021 from the Courses dropdown. Click Archives M15-F21.
Do I still have access to my course sites between Summer 2015 - Fall 2021?
- Instructors: You can access all previous course materials through the Archive URL. Course materials from M15 - F21 courses can be easily imported into the new GauchoSpace.
- Students: Generally able to access course sites from the current and one previous quarter (unless the instructor has made a current course unavailable to students, or an older course site available again). Accordingly, students are able to access Fall 2021 course sites on the archive until the start of Spring 2022 when they will be hidden from students.
How can I copy materials from previous courses to my Winter 2022 course site?
Instructors and Editing TAs can import materials from previous Summer 2015 - Fall 2021 sites or personal sandboxes through the new “Restore archive” block. This block is available on Winter 2022 and beyond course pages. Detailed instructions can be found here: How can I import course materials to another course?
