Building a Bridge
UC Santa Barbara’s new app, UCSB Bridge, serves as comprehensive digital student platform
(Santa Barbara, Calif.) — UC Santa Barbara students, employees and visitors have a new way to access some of the most sought-after services on campus, all with the tap of a finger.
UCSB Bridge, a new app that launched/is launching XXX and is available on any mobile device, serves as a digital hub for many of the university’s academic support resources. The app enables students to view [assignments, grades, library resources, and even menus for all of the different dining commons], all with one sign on.
“This app provides UCSB with a mobile platform that will help students find the resources they need for learning, a role that directly aligns with the university’s mission of teaching, research, and public service,” said Shea Lovan, interim chief information officer at UC Santa Barbara. “With its launch, we look forward to opening up possibilities for online student engagement.”
The app is completely customizable, allowing students to remove and rearrange tiles as needed. It will be updated regularly, with new features and tiles added each quarter.
