The tiles used in Bridge represent resources, departments, or services that enrich the academic experience here at UCSB.
Types of Tiles
Tiles in Bridge come in three basic forms:
Redirect / Link
The simplest form of a tile it merely links to an external page. If the goal is to simply bring people to a content-rich page already running this is an excellent option.
Hosted page
The hosted page or content tile is essentially a mini webpage within Bridge. Complexity can be tailored to match the needs of the content. These can range from a simple recreation of an existing page through a unique page inside Bridge developed to suit the audience.
Content Menu
This is a variation of the Hosted Page and can include a set of content pages in bridge or redirecting links to external sites.
