There are three ways to schedule class meetings or office hours using a GauchoSpace course page. Here they are in order of preference. Use the method that best suits your workflow.
1. Scheduling Meetings through the Zoom LTI Activity on GauchoSpace (Recommended Method)
New for Fall 2020. The Zoom LTI Pro activity is an external tool used in GauchoSpace that allows users to schedule individual and recurring Zoom class meetings directly in GauchoSpace. With Zoom LTI Pro, recurring meetings automatically generate individual entries for the corresponding date and time. Users only need to add the Zoom LTI Pro activity to their course page once. All course meetings can be managed through the Zoom LTI Pro activity on GauchoSpace.
Note: Instructors will see all recurring meetings scheduled through the Zoom LTI Pro Interface. Students will only see the singular activity created on GauchoSpace.
2. Scheduling Meetings through Zoom Client and Posting on GauchoSpace (Previously Recommended)
This is a quick method with little to no integration with GauchoSpace. It is not recommended unless you are having a lot of trouble working with the LTI interface but have a strong familiarity with Zoom. Users create their meetings directly in Zoom and merely paste the Zoom-generated meeting link into their GauchoSpace calendar for their students to access.
*Note- we do not recommend scheduling recurring course meetings via the Zoom Scheduling Extension in Google Calendar or Google Chrome*
