There are three ways to schedule class meetings or office hours using a GauchoSpace course page. Here they are in order of preference. Use the method that best suits your workflow.
New for Fall 2020. Zoom LTI Pro activity allows users to schedule individual and recurring class meetings directly in GauchoSpace. In Zoom LTI Pro, reoccurring meetings automatically generate individual entries for the corresponding date and time. Users only need to add the Zoom LTI activity to their course page once. All course meetings can be managed through the Zoom LTI Pro activity on GauchoSpace. Note: Instructors will see all recurring meetings scheduled through the Zoom LTI Pro Interface. Students will only see the singular activity created on GauchoSpace.
This is a legacy product. First time Zoom and GauchoSpace users should try using Zoom LTI (above) first as it is a more streamlined approach with the same result. For users who have established themselves using this original Zoom block in GauchoSpace method, it might be easiest to continue using it.
For users who are having trouble with the Zoom-GauchoSpace interface, this method is often easier. Schedule the recurring meetings in Zoom and then copy the generated link and paste it into the GS calendar.
One of these methods will work for you.
