When recording lectures, you can simultaneously capture multiple sources (also known as streams) using your computer. Students will have the ability to playback the video sources via GauchoCast once completed.
You can achieve this format by selecting one device as your Primary Source and another as your Secondary Source on the Panopto Recorder application. It is recommended that you designate any video+audio feeds (built-in webcam, USB webcam, document camera) as a Primary Source. If you plan to screen-capture your display, select it as your Secondary Source.
If you configure your sources this way on the Panopto application, they will appear in a similar order on the GauchoCast web-viewer. Your primary source will be offset to the smaller video screen on the left side of the web viewer and the secondary source will be displayed on the larger screen on the right.
