The Instructional Development best practice is to use GauchoCast for recording, uploading, downloading & editing videos. GauchoCast is the only program that offers unlimited storage for videos with streaming and editing capabilities. GauchoCast is FERPA compliant and provides multiple privacy control settings. Finally, GauchoCast users have the option to embed quizzes and request captioning.

**YouTube does offer editing via studio, however editing options are limited. YouTube studio is not currently supported by Instructional Development.
