There are two different TA roles in Gauchospace: Editing TAs and Non-editing TAs. Editing TAs have nearly all the editing capabilities as Instructors. To promote your TA to an Editing TA, please follow these steps:
- In the Administration block, click Users, then click Enrolled users.

2. Use the "Quick Role Filter" drop-down menu and select "Non-editing TA".
3. In the Roles column, click the pencil icon for the role of the user, where Non-Editing TA is shown.
4. This will open a small window with a list of role options. Select the "Editing TA" role, this will add the role to the user.
Note: You won't be able to remove the Non-Editing TA role, the Editing TA role will supersede the Non-Editing TA role permissions.
5. Click the floppy disk icon to save changes.
