GauchoSpace now displays submission information for Assignments, Quizzes, Choice, Feedback, Lessons and Database activities under their titles where they appear on the course page. Depending on the user's role in a Gauchospace course site, the information displayed will be different. Students will see the status of their submission/attempt and the due date for the activity. Instructors will see the number of submissions/attempts. If the activity requires grading, instructors will also see the number of submissions/attempts that need to be graded.
If a student has submitted or attempted an activity they will see a check mark (marked A below) and their submission/attempt date. If their submission/attempt has been graded there will be a notice of "Feedback available" under the submission status (marked B below). If the activity has been submitted/attempted but not graded there will only be a check mark (marked C below).
Below is an example of what a quiz activity would look like for a student who has attempted the quiz and received a grade for their attempt.
Instructor and TAs will see that status of the activity as it relates to all students enrolled in the course. In example A below, all of the submissions for the assignment have been graded. The exclamation mark denotes that the due date has passed. Example B shows that there is one ungraded submission. Example C has a future due date and does not include the exclamation point and shows how many submission there have been.
In the quiz example below this quiz is graded automatically and the submission status includes the exclamation point for a past due date.
