All @umail.ucsb.edu accounts (for student, faculty, staff, visitors, functional, etc.) are in the same ucsb.edu namespace.
U-Mail accounts will have a delivery alias of UCSBnetID@umail.ucsb.edu added. You can use either address without issue for calendaring.
