A PDF is a file format that preserves the appearance of your document, regardless of whether it is viewed on a Mac, PC, or other device. To save a Word document in PDF format, do the following:
- Open your document in MS Word.
- From the File menu, click Save as...
- Select PDF in the format drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
