In June 2016, GauchoSpace debuted an updated default theme, Adaptable. Adaptable features a two-column format and many other design elements to streamline use on all devices. In addition to Adaptable, Instructors also have the option of changing their course site to a more basic theme, Clean. Clean is similar to our previous theme, Gaucho, in that it is a three column design. Below are screenshots of the default theme, Adaptable and the optional theme, Clean and instructions on how to change your theme.
Note: since Adaptable is the default theme, your log-in screen and My Home page will always use Adaptable. However, Instructors of a course site have the option to change their individual course site, i.e. what all participants see, to Clean. It is important to also consider that most courses available to students use the Adaptable theme, therefore they may be less familiar with the clean theme.
Instructors are able to change the theme for their course site by following these instructions
- Log in to GauchoSpace and enter your course site.
- In the Administration block click Edit Settings.
- Under Appearance, in the Force Theme field, select Clean.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
