Some instructors may choose to delegate management of their GauchoSpace course site to a Teaching Assistant, instead of creating and managing the page themselves. In this scenario, GauchoSpace support staff will need to create the course site for the instructor and add the assigned TA as an "Editing TA" so that they have access to build the course content. To facilitate this process:
- Submit a request (via a Help Ticket) that your TA manage the course site. Please include all relevant information, such as your first and last name, the course title and number, and the first and last name of the TA. Note: This request must come directly from the instructor of record of the course, not from the TA that will be managing the course site.
- Our support staff will create the course site and add the TA in with an "Editing TA" role.
- If the TA hasn't gone through an orientation session, it is recommended to have them complete the GauchoSpace Online Orientation prior to managing a course site.
