The Instructor Announcements section includes announcements that your instructor has sent out to the class via email. Instructors may decide to change the name of the Instructor Announcements, but this is rare.
There are two ways to view announcements. Instructor Announcements are typically located in the top week/topic section of your course website. Click this link to access the archive of messages.
You can also view announcements by clicking view my inbox on your "My Home" page, underneath your name. This will show you all your received messages for the current quarter from all courses.
If you would like new, unread posts to forums to be highlighted, follow these steps:
- Log in to GauchoSpace.
- Underneath your name, click edit my profile.
- Under Preferences, change the Forum tracking setting to Yes: highlight new posts for me.
- Click Update Profile at the bottom of the page.
