Students: How do I complete an assignment on GauchoSpace?

  1. Log in to GauchoSpace and enter your course site.
  2. Navigate to the week or topic where the assignment is located and click the assignment name.
  3. The assignment information appears here. Under Submission status, you will see information about your own submission. To upload an assignment, click the Add submission button.
  4. To submit a file, drag and drop your document from your computer's desktop or file navigator into the file submissions section.
  5. Click Save changes.

To modify your assignment, click Edit submission at the bottom of the submission status page.

If you see a text box instead of the Upload a file option, type your assignment in the text box, then click Save changes.

(Note: If you are given a text box for your assignment submission, we recommend saving and then copy/pasting your entries from a word processor such as Microsoft Word. After 90 minutes a timeout will occur and any unsaved work you have on GauchoSpace will be lost.)
