The GauchoSpace reports allow instructors and Editing TAs to view student activity in your course site.
To find these logs:
- Log in to GauchoSpace and enter your course site.
- Click Turn editing on.
- In the Administration block, click on the Reports.
- You will have four report options: Logs; Live Logs; Activity Report; Course Participation. If you have Course Completion on, you will also see Course Participation and Activity Completion as reports.
Logs - Instructors can designate what type of activity they wish to see in a report by selecting criteria from drop-down menus (e.g. which users have accessed a particular resource in the last five hours; site errors, such as failed log-in attempts, etc.).
Live Logs - This lists live logs from the past hour. Every 60 seconds, the list updates with all user activity from the past hour.
Activity Report - This lists the activities included in a course site and indicates the total number of views on that activity as well as the date and time of last access.
Course Participation -This link takes users to a page with drop-down menus to filter participation reports for a particular activity. Instructors and TAs can also use this feature to send a message to all students who have not completed a certain action such as an assignment.
