This article will provide step to link Cengage tools to your Canvas course. For help with creating a Cengage account or using Cengage tools see this page.
1. Locate the Module you want to add the Cengage tool to in your course (if you don't have a Module in your course follow the steps here). In the top right of the Module click on the + sign to add an item to the module.
2. Using the drop-down menu to add an item, select the option for "External Tool".
3. Select "Cengage LTI Advantage". Then click Add Item in the bottom right.
4. Enter your Cengage account name and password. Click Log in.
5. Select the Cengage tool type you would like to add and then select any sub options of the Cengage tool category.
6. Once selected, you will see a Cengage URL populated at the bottom of the Canvas "Add Item to Module" window. Click Add Item.
7. The selected Cengage content will then be added to the Module.
