In order to make GauchoSpace easier to use for the most common functions, we have developed 'basic' mode that will be the default for all Instructors and Editing TAs in course sites. Basic mode will put the most-frequently used activities and resources at the center of the user experience, resulting in a streamlined experience that will suit the needs of most users.
Activities and Resources found in the default Basic mode are:
Activities: Assignment, Attendance, Choice, Feedback, Forum, Question2Answer forum, Quiz, Zoom meeting
Resources: File, Folder, Label, Page, URL
In order to enable access to any desired 'advanced' tools or features, any Instructor or Editing TA just needs to Turn editing on and toggle the Advanced tools switch to ON in a specific course site. This will change the list to display all available activities/resources.
The advanced tools will remain enabled in that course site until the instructor or TA toggles them to OFF to resume Basic mode.
