If one or more of your monitors are behaving anomalously (i.e. low resolution, flickering and/or black screen), please attempt the follow steps in order:
1. Power the monitor OFF, wait approximately 10 seconds and turn it back ON. Usually a quick power cycle will remedy the issue.
2. Restart your machine.
3. Be sure to check all connections coming from the PC to the monitor. You'll want to power down your display and verify that each cable is securely connected to its respective port.
It may be a good idea to unplug/reinsert each cable accordingly (be very careful not to switch ports on the back of your machine). Please leave the power cable disconnected approximately 10 seconds. Power the monitor on and check for functionality.
4. Check for driver updates. Please go to 'Device Manager' > 'Monitors' > Right-Click on your monitor(s) > select 'Update Driver' > 'Search automatically for updated driver software'
If the issue still persists, there may be a cable or hardware failure. Please contact the LSIT helpdesk.
