It may be the case that after entering grades for a particular grade item, you need to change the item's maximum possible score. Before you can do this, GauchoSpace needs to know whether or not to rescale the existing grades.
As an example, let's say Joe Gaucho earned a 4 out of 10 (40%) on the quiz above, and that the quiz is going to be rescaled to have a maximum grade of 50 points (instead of 10).
If you select 'No', the original grades are left alone. Joe Gaucho's grade after the rescale will be 4 out of 50.
If you select 'Yes', the original grades are altered so that the student's percentage does not change. Joe Gaucho's grade after the rescale will be 20 out of 50, keeping his percentage score at 40%.
